Is Chiropractic covered by Medicare?

Many people ask if Chiropractic treatment is covered by Medicare, and we are glad the answer is yes!

You may be eligable for a Medicare rebate through an Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC).

Many people are eligible for this plan and don't even know.

What you need to do BEFORE arriving

If you feel that you would benefit from an EPC plan, follow these steps:
  1. See your local GP and explain your situation and express your desire to see us as your local Chiropractor on an EPC plan.
  2. If you qualify, they will arrange the paperwork for you.
  3. Bring the paperwork with you to the Chiropractic appointment.

We don't bulk bill , but you can pay for the EPC portion with your Medicare Card  through our easyclaim eftpos, or we can give you the invoice to claim through Medicare online or at your nearest office.

The Medicare rebate for EPC is approximately $55, and you are then required to pay the gap, which is usually no more than $45 for your first visit (less for seniors and students).
